Start your Winter Break off right by serving others through music. We'll sing a few songs while residents of the Retirement Community eat lunch. Lyrics provided; all popular, easy to sing Christmas songs. We'll probably sing for about 20 minutes. Stay to chat with these wise residents or make it short and sweet; whatever works best for your family.

Did you hear about the fire they recently had? Taken directly from their website, here's what they say about it:
A fire broke out in the kitchen at the Eugene Mission in the early morning hours of June 16, 2016. By the grace of God no one was injured. All emergency systems worked as expected and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The Eugene Mission serves more than 750 meals a day and sleeps more than 400 people each night. Our kitchen/dining room are currently completely inoperable. We are raising money to pay for kitchen restoration expenses not covered by insurance, emergency operational expenses, and to buy ready-to-eat food. Thank you for your support and prayers!

Join us for Garden Building Day at Singing Creek!
We will be creating a replica pioneer garden for visitors at Singing Creek to enjoy this summer by pulling weeds, creating walkways through the garden, planting veggies and flowers, and creating some pretty garden art.
Please bring any pretty (natural) rocks you happen to find this spring!
Join us as we mulch 400 little trees along the Willamette River and help them grow into big healthy trees.
Meet in the parking lot of Maurie Jacobs Park at noon. Stay as long as you'd like.

Help the Eugene Mission prepare for their Thanksgiving feast! Bonus: there will be senior citizens helping at the same time. What could be cuter than seniors and kids helping side by side? Nothing, nothing could be cuter.
