Why support Little Hands Can? We change lives!
Our impact since 2015:
Little Hands Can serves the Eugene/Springfield area through our four main programs: City Stewards, Happy Helpers, Learning Leaders, and Kindness Camp. Since Little Hands Can’s conception in 2015, children and their families have completed over 300 community service projects and over 6000 volunteer hours. LHC has also collaborated with and served over 50 local and national organizations.
These community service projects include:
30 park improvement projects with Eugene Parks and Open Spaces, Friends of Trees, Friends of Hendricks Park and many other local organizations.
20 gardening and food drive projects with FOOD for Lane County and GrassRoots Garden.
1000 hygiene, school, and mini first aid kits compiled for organizations such as the Eugene Mission, Refugee Resettlement Coalition of Lane County, Catholic Community Services, and Bags of Love.
200 items (e.g., cat carriers, cards, blankets, toys) made for organizations benefitting animals such as Eugene Spay and Neuter, Greenhill Humane Society, and Northwest Dog Project.
4000 holiday cards for the homeless.
AND SO MUCH MORE!
We are delighted to share our 2017 and 2018 Annual Reports, highlighting the ways that Little Hands Can empowers children to make a difference in their community. We appreciate all of those who have provided financial support of our programs. Generous funding from donors and community partners allows us to provide programs that teach civic responsibility to children of all ages. Your support allows Little Hands Can to show children that even though they are small, they can make a big difference in their community. To view the reports, click on the images below.
