Hello Little Hands Can families! We have missed you all during this last several months and hope you are all doing well. In a time when we are not able to connect with our community in person we have to get creative on how to stay connected and support each other through this season.
As many of you know, one of our longest standing traditions as an organization has been making 500+ cards to be placed on the beds at the Eugene Mission on Christmas Eve.
Of course, this year is different. Schools and clubs won't be meeting to make them, we can't collect them as an organization due to our temporary closure, and Little Hands Can won’t be able to deliver them. However, we couldn’t stand the idea of not spreading cheer to those in need in Eugene. We all need as much kindness and support this holiday season as we can get!
Therefore, we are sharing an opportunity that you can do safely from home: Your family can make holiday cards and send them directly to the Eugene Mission between now and Christmas Eve!
Want to help? Here’s how it works:
Take a colorful piece of card stock or construction paper.
Fold it in half.
Write, draw, and decorate with stickers!
Write a message. Make sure all notes are uplifting. Many people with small kids have printed off holiday carol lyrics and had their preschooler glue the lyrics onto the page. Older kids can often write their own message of good tidings.
Mail your cards to Kelsie Champ at the Eugene Mission at the address below:
*Make sure they will be delivered prior to Christmas Eve:

Please sign up and indicate the number of cards you are making in the form below. That way we can get an idea of how close we are to reaching our goal of 500 cards! Thank you so much for helping us use safe ways to keep our kiddos engaged and to serve our community.
